End of season

The season has ended and everyone has gone home. the band have been playing 3/4 nights a week and could do with a well earned rest before the Christmas parties begin.

Murphys Pub in Dingle is a  popular bar / restaurant / b&b.At the height of the season it offers music seven nights a week.The music in Murphys tends towards the ballad side of the Irish tradition.

Killarney

Killarney Towers Hotel.

The  Killarney Towers Hotel is one venue where many tourists will satisfy thier hunger for the Irish experience. At the height of the season the hotel will feature a different band every night

On occasion, a member of the band will not be able to make the gig. Over time, a lot of people have played for Tintean and most of these are willing to stand in. Due to the longevity of the band, anyone who does stand in is familiar with the particular way that songs are performed. Each singer will make a song his or her own.

This is an earlier line up of the band from 2007.

Live in Dingle.

This is Tintean live in Murphys bar Dingle in the summer of 2011. Dingle is more attractive to tourists from Europe. One of the differences between Killarney and Dingle, is that Dinle would provide more "classical" traditional sessions, whereas hoteliers in  Killarney would provide more ballad based entertainment for its clientelle.
